The City of Weston and the Weston Historic Preservation Commission are proud to offer property owners within the H1 Historic District an opportunity to receive grant funding for updates and maintenance of their historic properties. You may apply in person, by mail, or by drop box by printing and completing an application and submitting it to City Hall.   Applications are also available during business hours at City Hall.
Application Deadline
Applications must be submitted by March 15th of each year.  Note: The submission deadline for 2021 has been extended to June 15, 2021.
Qualification Requirements
In order to qualify for the Downtown Revitalization Grant Program, you must:
  • Be the property owner or a registered agent with power of attorney.
  • Must have property and liability insurance.
  • Must be current on mortgage payments and real estate taxes.
  • May NOT be related to any elected or appointed official or full time employee of the City of Weston.
  • Have a project whose work tasks are allowed under project conditions.
  • Must submit a full and complete application including the additional documents listed:
    • Proof of ownership or registered agent status
    • Proof of insurance
    • Proof of tax payment
    • Two written contractor's cost estimates
