The Weston Water Treatment Plant was originally constructed in 1930 to treat ground water.   The present plant was constructed in 1968,  expanded in 1990, and upgraded in 2009.   The plant is comprised of four groundwater wells located in the adjacent Missouri River bottoms that provide water to the plant.   The water supply is treated via a split treatment lime softening process, with 18% of the aerated raw water passed directly to the secondary clarifier.   The Weston Water Treatment Plant provides water to the City of Weston, Water District #3, and Water District #7.
