The City of Weston Park Board was established in 1970 and consists of nine (9) members, all volunteers from the Weston Community.

The Weston Park Board is funded by Personal Property and Real Estate Taxes and the occasional grant for special projects.

Weston City parks have been developed for your enjoyment. We on the Weston Park Board strive too make our City Parks relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable for all.

Weston City Park - Downtown

boxPhoto Link - 1 - Photo Link - 2 - Photo Link - 3 The city's first park developed in the late 1960's is located on Thomas Street just west of Main. There are three accesses into the Park. One is on Thomas Street, one on Main Street between the Town Mouse and the Methodist Church, the last entrance is on Spring Street at Blackhawk. The park has a tennis court, a volleyball court, a basketball court, playground equipment, grills, and a gazebo. The park is open to the public on a first come, first serve basis from 6:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.

Bless Park - Mo. JJ Highway

boxPhoto Link - 1 This ten-acre park, just on the outskirts of city limits was developed after land was donated to the city by the family of Charles and Ruth Bless. The Park currently has several picnic tables. There is a master plan for the development of Bless Park.



Franklin Park - Franklin Drive

boxPhoto Link This small pocket park is located in a residential neighborhood known as Nell Estates.




Shafer Park - South Bluff Trail

boxPhoto Link - 1 - Photo Link - 2 This small park was developed after land was donated to the city by Abe and Quint Shafer. The park is a stopping point along the Weston Bluff Trail between Weston and the south trailhead in Beverly.



ANTOINETTE PARK - FIDDLERS RIDGE SUBDIVISION

boxPhoto Link The most recent park obtained by the Weston Park Board is located between Siler Estates and Fiddlers Ridge Subdivision. This park is currently under development.

Benner Park & Weston Bend State Park - Mo 45 Highway

boxPhoto Link - 1 - Photo Link - 2 These two parks are not part of the city park department, but are located inside the city limits of Weston. Benner Park is on the West Platte RII School District property and has several playground equipment and is next to the school's fitness trail. Weston Bend State Park is part of the State of Missouri Department of Natural Resources park system. It is located on the southern edge of Weston along Highway 45. It offers picnic shelters, playgrounds, grills, walking/jogging trails, a dog park, camping hook-ups and a scenic overlook point over the Missouri River.
